Battery failed after 3 years, I maintain my vehicle and told the Advance parts person if it was the right battery they would not need a plastic adapter and it would have fit the original battery tray in my 88 bronco 2. The battery Advance sold me was a group 56, the new battery I got from NAPA is a group 64 and fits perfectly in the original battery tray. Ford verifies that the group 64 is the proper replacement battery. Advance's website still shows the group 56 battery as an exact fit replacement. The Napa battery also has 200 more cold cranking amps than the Advance battery at the same price. Very disappointed in Advance Auto.

Comments about AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 56, 550 CCA:
I wish the 56 series battery was offered in the Autocraft Gold Series for the longer warranty. I'm disappointed that the Silver series only comes with a two year replacement battery warranty and no pro-rated warranty beyond the two years.

Comments about AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 56, 550 CCA:
Battery is used in a car with average use (maybe 12,000 miles per year). The original battery had about 4 years of use, so it was time to replace, add it only registered about 220 CCA when tested. New battery works well so far as I would expect.

..Got this battery because I had a 20% off coupon. I installed the battery..the vehical's starter turned slow but the car did start. Cut off car to check voltage. Checked the battery voltage and was surprised that it only was putting out 12.4 volts. Didn't want to drive the 30 minutes back to store. Charged the battery fully at home. After years of buying batteries I never ran into this problem before..SO HAVE THE STORE CHECK CHARGE PRIOR TO PURCHASE..!..

Q:
would this battery fit 2003 volvo 601 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, this AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 56, 550 CCA does not fit your 2003 Volvo S60.Q:
What is the warranty on the battery?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This battery has 24 months free replacement and 72 months prorated. Your warranty begins the day you purchase the battery, and expires at the end of the warranty period printed on your original receipt and Order Confirmation email, or when you sell your vehicle, whichever occurs first. This warranty cannot be transferred to anyone at any time. The prorated purchase price of any battery, which becomes defective after the lapse of the "Free Replacement Period", and prior to the end of the warranty period, will be either credited toward the purchase of another battery, or refunded at our option. The amount of the proration shall be determined by dividing the purchase price by the number of months of the warranty period, and then multiplying the result by the number of months remaining in the warranty period. (Any partial months will be rounded to the nearest whole month). When a battery is replaced after the "Free Replacement Period" and a prorated fee is paid, the warranty starts from that date as a new purchase.Q:
