Q:
My car (a 95 mercury tracer 1.9 auto) will shift fine, however it starts off in 1st then shifts to 3rd. It skips 2nd and won't shift into overdrive. The trans does not slip or anything weird. Could it be the neutral safety switch on top of the trans, where the shifting linkage is?1 answer
