The description plainly states that the quantity for this item is 2, and to me and most everyone else in the world that means that for 63.99,which is $12 more than the guy posted above lol, you get 2, yes two, bearings not 1`but 2 for this price. And if anyone wanted to push this they could get 2 for this price. FIX IT.

Advance Auto Parts does sell Made in the USA products as well as products manufactured from many other countries in order to keep our pricing competitive. Please also keep in mind that many suppliers have multiple manufacturing plants that could result in different countries of origin for the same part.

In the description of part # 510057, you offer a National ball bearing for $51.99. There is also an indication of “Qty 2” in the publication. Does this mean that 510057 gets you 2 pieces of the 33mm wide bearing or that 2 pieces of the 510057 bearing is needed to rebuild the hub assembly.
I have seen hubs that have 2 bearings pressed into a single housing and have seen hub housings that only required 1 bearing. The Haynes manual for 2001 thru 2009 PT Cruiser that you offer in your store doesn’t even indicate there is a need for front wheel bearings let alone a procedure for replacement. I understand those manuals can’t cover everything, but wheel bearings are basic to a car and need to be addressed if only to say “this is serviceable only in ……….” if that is the case.
I would really like to know what is needed before the assembly is removed from the car

  • Q:

I was wondering if i had to press this bearing in to the assembly or not? and if every Advance auto parts store has a press to do this if it applies? thank you. 2000 dodge neon front- passenger side.

You will need to have a press to do this job. Make sure you support the bearing when you press the hub into the bearing. One other item it to make sure your hub is not warped or bent. If it is you may hear your brakes rub every rotation at a similar location. You will need a needle gauge and a mount to check this.

For further assistance, please provide the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle. Most Advance Auto Parts stores that I have seen do not have the press.
