  • Q:

this says it fits a 95 talon tsi but my 95 is stock and the cam sensor is located behind the intake sprocket. Is this sensor a swap or something because of the problems the 95-96 had with the location and reliabilty of the original sensor? If so how is it wired? do i just need a piggy tail from the original sensor and make my own harnesss from the new sensor to the old plug from the harness?

      A:

Check under the INTAKE cam gear. The plugs for it should be right around there as well. There is a black rectangular one and a grey triangle one. I believe the grey one is the cam sensor. The actual sensor is mounted on the inside of the intake cam gear. This BWD Camshaft Sensor with part# CSS47K fits your 1995 Eagle Talon TSi.
