BWD throttle position sensors maintain specific installed outputs to match OE rather than adjustable consolidated designs. The circuits are printed on flexible polyimide film or ceramic-based substrates for excellent dimensional stability and for the prevention of electrical performance drift.

Q:
I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 318 . Engine misses at certain rpms and idles rough . some times when i take my foot off of the gas pedal the rpms drop and then come right back up . It has new plugs wires and cap and rotor . The only thing that i think that could cause this problem is the throttle position sensor . what are your feelings on this . if it misses at 1800 rpms i take it up to 2000 and it runs fine .HELP
The throttle position sensor may be the possible cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

Q:
I have a 93 dodge dakota. The pick Up will bog down occasionally and sometimes runs very rough like it is not getting gas, would the TPS be the problem? "BWD Sensor - Throttle Position".
Yes a bad TPS could cause this issue. I recommend that you check all other sensors as well
