Comments about Fenco Rack and Pinion:
insalled the rack on a hot rod project with brand new lines ,filled the steering pump, all the fluid leaked out over night from a bad seal on the inboard tierod and rack housing. This vehicle never moved one foot.I will try another, and if it leaks I will look for a better quality product.

Comments about Fenco Rack and Pinion:
I also ordered the mounting bushings for this rack and was surprised to find the bushings were included, which made this item much less expensive.

Q:
I have a 1989, 3.9l Dodge Dakota. I noticed a possible leak on the passengers right side just at the beginning of the boot were the line connects. When I turn the steering wheel it makes the power steering sound and begins to shake. Would I need to replace the entire Rack and Pinion or would there be another alternative to fixing this problem? Very much appreciated.1 answer
