With reference to this Factory Air Heater Control Valve - part# 74621, the heater control valve on your Ford Expedition should be located in one of the heater hoses to regulate coolant flow to the heater core. The valve is usually vacuum-controlled, which is operated by controls on the dash. It is located on the top of the engine under the Throttle-body injection cover on the right side - to the front section of the Throttle-body injection, near the flux capacitor.
