as other reviewers have mentioned, do not bolt down radiator before installing. for my Pontiac the bottom transmission cooling line would not line up properly due to the addition of the adapters used to attach the lines. I know this is a problem for most self installers due to stickers warning of cross threading the lines. In an effort to make this product work for more vehicles they have prevented me from being able to use it. Returned before destroying the transmission lines or fitting on this radiator. Will order the Delphi version which is OEM for my vehicle.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Descent product, Lifetime warranty a plus.
Good, fairly easy to install.
Do not like the transmission cooler adapter fittings. They make it very difficult to connect
cooler lines because it moves the fittings too far back, which changes the angle of the bends !!

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
I needed this to replace a 14 year old leaking radiator with a crack in the plastic tank. The new one seems durable enough, we will see how long the plastic lasts though. My old radiator seems to have cracked from old age, but in order to prevent cracking in the winter, make sure you refill with enough antifreeze in the system.
This radiator is wider than the original on my car and I assume that translates into better cooling efficiency. It fits perfectly in the car, just has a thicker center.
Like some others said, it helps if you unbolt the transmission cooler lines from the bracket and install them before securing the radiator.
No regrets about buying this and I hope it lasts as long as the original.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Found this to be a pretty simple install, and like the other reviews, the line adapters can make the install a bit more tricky. When working on my 95 lesabre, I found it MUCH easier to take an extra 5 mins and remove the mounting brackets from the cooling lines under the front end. Doing this gave me much more flexability, which in turn made lining up and threading the fittings into the radiator super simple. Aside from that everything was a perfect fit, and so far so good. Had it in about a month now and no problems. Almost forgot on a 95 lesabre you have to remove both electric fans to get to the radiator, I found this a bit challenging when trying to get the wiring harnesses disconnected and don't know of any good ticks to get to them.

Very good value.
Had to modify trans cooling lines to compensate for line adapters.

Q:
1996 pontaic bonneville se how do I tell what radiator it needs, I noticed some say with oil coolant and some without? How do I tell which one I need, I know that I hae a coolant sensor.2 answers
VERIFIED BUYER
A:
The side with the coolant sensor has metal fittings for the transmission fluid cooler lines. All models of your car with an automatic transmission will have those connections. Look on the other side (driver's side) for fittings accepting metal lines. If they are there, you have an engine oil cooler. If all you see on the driver's side is the radiator hose connection, you do not have an engine oil cooler on the radiator.CUSTOMER CARE

You have to find out if you have an engine oil cooler. Check and see if you see like brake looking lines goin to your radiator.Q:
