The price was fair and the store on 4th st in St Pete has a knowledgeable crew that's always helpful. It was a little more work because I had to trim the fan cowling in order to fit against the replacement radiator. Not a knock on the fan assembly because it was the OEM replacement radiator that was not an exact match. It's just hard plastic so it's not too awful hard to trim the cowling. Time will tell if the fans last, hopefully they will.

It wasn't quite as sturdy/rigid as the original, but the car is 14-years old, and the fan assembly has a lifetime warantee.

Not difficult but you do have to remove crossmember that holds top of radiator to replace the part. Sounds like a big job but will only take 60-90 minutes with learning curve. Best to put car on ramps so you can get underneath. New fan is nice and quiet, no more bearing noise from old unit.

When raditor has been replaced and fan on the passenger side is not turning on, what is the first step to do.

                      A:

There could be a number of things for the fan on the passenger side not turning on but the first thing to do is to check the fuse. If checking and replacing the fuse does not fix your problem then the fan is likely the problem. There is also probably a switch or relay you can check. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

The radiator fan ON/OFF is controlled through the sensor and the PCM.
