Good price on a huge battery. They generally only last two to three years in my boat. We will see how this one does.

    What would the AH be for this battery. I want to use it with an inverter and recharge with solar panels. I need the AH value to calculate usage and pwer for recharge.
    Someone told me the reserve capacity is the same as the AH or amp hour. Is that correct?
    Also, this is a maintenance free battery but can it be restored when it starts to war out?

      Sorry, the amp hour rating and the reserve capacity are different. The amp hour is approximately half of the reserve capacity. This Autocraft Farm and Truck Battery, Group Size 8, 1155 CCA (Part No. 8D) has a 190 Amp hour at 20 Hr capacity and 155 Amp hour at 5 hr capacity. It has a reserve capacity of 380 min.       This part Autocraft Battery, Group Size 8D, part number 8D manufactured by Autocraft is of Starting type, it can function as a deep cycle but not recommended as it will reduce the lifespan of battery ( ie; Battery will generally fail after 30-150 deep cycles if deep cycled, while they may last for thousands of cycles in normal starting use ).

    I tried to purchase this product online and have it sent to my local store but the web site wouldn't allow it. I talked to the store manager and he didn't have one in his regional distribution center. Why is this product listed on your site?

      We can not ship to our stores. We use different distribution centers than they do. If a store has the wanted item in stock, you are able to set up an order for in-store pick up, otherwise, they have to be sent to your house unless it can not be shipped. Although your store may not be able to get this part, our other stores may be able to.
