This is on par with the more expensive ones. It's already pre-mixed, so no work there. So far, I have had in the car for 2 weeks. It keeps the car much cooler after a complete flush and fill. Why buy the more expensive ones when you can get two for the same price of one of those.

Prediluted coolant should only be used for top-offs. Learned the hardway, flushing your radiator with water you cannot be sure of the proper mix because of leftover water in the system. So I recommend finding out the correct capacity of your radiator, doing some math, and using undiluted coolant with some distilled water. Comparable to other name brands for less.

...that's 100% great stuff to use. You can use this in any vehicle that doesn't have DexCool (the pink stuff) ...or is a Honda.

Premix is the way to go. You'll pay almost as much for this product as you will for a gallon of straight anti-freeze. The payoff is in the convenience and the fact you're getting mineral-free water mixed with it so it's all good for maintaining your cooling system.

Unless you're still paranoid thinking store-brand stuff is somehow inferior to big-name stuff, you can save some bucks buying Advance anti-freeze. And it works jut as well.

For some unexplained reason, my radiator cap blew off or was left off by somebody checking the radiator (me -- only me). The coolant blew about a gallon before I could get stopped, a gallon out of 2.5. I was using the DexCool brand of Anti-Freeze also sold by Advance, but decided to get one that said it's compatible with all forms of coolant. Because it saved money too, I tried this one and, unexpectedly, it poured GREEN instead of the ORANGE shown by the 150,000 mile stuff. I didn't think much about it, but was still surprised. So far, the engine (3.1v6 Pontiac, 1991) has not complained any, and the new radiator cap has not tried to escape either. Upon inspection, the coolant is all orange now, and that calmed me down a bit, even though it was probably because there was more orange in the system.

It feels bad paying for water, but you don't have to mix it yourself. It's pre-mixed to the correct ratio.
