Comments about Fenco Disc Brake Caliper, Rear Left:
This was not an equal part to the factory one I was replacing. Once mounted, the outside pad was pressing against the rotor so tightly that you couldn't turn the rotor(wheel) at all. The mounting bracket for the caliper is not the same thickness as the factory part. You could drop a half dollar between the inside pad and rotor, but the outside would always be in a bind. The only way to rig it was to place a washer (used as bushing) between the caliper mounting bracket and the wheel mounting bracket (approx 1/8" thickness) and that allowed for enough space for the outside pad. Another note, this was new pads, new rotor and new caliper.

Q:
I'm struggling with this install because when installed as directed the brakes and the rotor are too tight making rotation by hand difficult and smoking when driven.1 answer
