Bought this product for my 91 Honda Civic DX. My old rotors where sooo rusted it was horrible. They really needed to be replaced! These went on easy and work great!

I bought these for a 97 civic ex coupe. They DO NOT FIT. They are made for the hatchback. But I did not see that listed anywhere on this site.

it's really up to you... you got the right idea about your rotors.
the price difference isn't much i think. but in my opinion new rotors and machined/ turned rotors cost about the same....
so if you install yourself i would go with brand new rotors.
