Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
First off,do yourself a favor and get the Bosch! You will save yourself money and headaches in the end.I put one of these pieces of junk on my Amigo in January, and 3 months later it quit. After a $65 tow bill to get my Amigo home. I got a replacement and installed it. The replacement went out within 2 days. Lucky for me that time I didn't need a tow.If you like to gamble and have tons of money to waste, then by all means buy this junk and pray. For a few dollars more, you get a well known name and a product made in America not [*].

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
I wanted to replace my original stock fuel pump before it failed (my Nissan had 293K miles on it) so I bought this Airtex pump. The gas tank was clean inside and I changed the strainer sock and the fuel filter at the time I installed this pump. I noticed that the pump was a little noisy sometimes, but that isn't covered by the warranty so I left it in. I never ran the car out of gas, but this pump only lasted 4,000 miles (6 months) before it gave out (car started bucking and stalling). I put the old fuel pump back in the car and it runs great again.
This an inexpensive pump to install if you want to sell your car soon, but I'd advise others to stay away from this brand if you expect long term durability.
