Replaced OEM coils which was causing the battery light to come on and hesitation when initially cranked (before the engine was warm). Suggestion: If one coil goes out, replace them all and all spark plugs at the same time. This will save a lot of hassle and anoyances.

    Comments about BWD Ignition Coil:

This product was a replacement for the original that broke. It seems to be fine, installed very easy. It was a pain to install simply because I had to remove the entire intake on my Escape to get to the back cylinders, which is where the replacement needed to go. Otherwise, no problems.

I believe the firing order for a 2000 Ford Taurus 3.0 liter V-6 DOHC VIN "S" is: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6. When facing the front of the vehicle cylinder no. 6 is the farthest from the front on the driver (right) side, closest to the firewall. However with out the presence of your vehicle we cannot provide you with a 100% answer.

firing order for the v-6 is as followed according to the haynes repair manual 1-4-2-5-3-6. the odd #'s are in the back of the intake manafold and are difficult to get too. plan on spending some time taking your engine apart. the even #'s are in the front and are easy to get to and change.
