Comments about Moog Tie Rod Bushing:
2002 Intrepid, Turn wheel to right (almost all the way, leave a little play room) take out the bolts slide in the new ones washer in back and tighten the bolts your done. Also have a helper move the steering wheel to align bolts. The only thing extra I needed was a 3/4 x 12in galv nipple to put on my ratchet to loosen/tighten bolt. Big savings for a 1 hour project.

In this particular case, being a 2002 Chrysler 300M, it would have been nice to have had a description of how to best get to the old part and replace it with the new part.

Q:
what is the difference between kit k7349 and k7408? One has more parts and costs less. Is there a difference in quality or something else?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, the part # k7349 is made of high quality and direct fit OE replacement tie rod adjusting sleeve.Q:
I notice that on this car I find some of these kits that are labeled as 2-piece design and 1-piece design, will either replacement work? I do not want to have to pull the vehicle apart and then find out. I see nothing about it in the Haynes manual and would like to know what the difference in the replacement parts actually is.2 answers

A:
Yes, either the 2-piece or 1-piece will workA:
either part will work ,the difference being that the 2-piece can be installed without removing the tie rod. the 1-piece has to be pressed into the tie rod with a special tool.
