Got it online at Advance for less than all the competitors and free shipping to boot! Check engine light went out after about ten miles of driving. Saved more than 100 dollars over what the shop wanted to change the same part. Thanks for Advance employee doing a free diagnostic check on my van.

Gasket is already included! Does not indicate this in description. So, I bought the gasket. Now, I have to return the gasket.

Gave it a four only because I just installed it a few days ago and so far all OK..
Engine light is now off. Seemed to improve mileage just a bit.
Sure beat the price on the OEM cost.
Did it myself in 15 minutes which saved me about 80%....

The EGR valve, or Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve, is a vacuum controlled valve which allows a specific amount of your exhaust back into the intake manifold. This exhaust mixes with the intake air and actually cools the combustion process. Cooler is always better inside your engine. The exhaust your EGR valve re circulates also prevents the formation of Nitrogen related gases. These are referred to as NOX emissions, and are a common cause for failing emissions testing.Answered on 10/31/2011 by Vincent from AAP
