2003 Ford F350 had a habit of starting "Most of the Time" but on a speratic rate the starter would not roll. Checked/tightened wires to starter / solenoid and issue went away for several days. Then one morning after the turck sat overnight, turning the key would not roll the starter. Removed starter and had tested "As Good". Reinstalled bad starter, the truck started once and same problem. Replacing solenoid did not fix the problem. Replaced Positive battery cable assembly, no fix. Finally replaced starter with this one and the truck starts every time. After returning starter solenoid I was able to fix the problem for less than $225 in parts.

This replaced the starter on my F-250 6.0l. I did not realize how slow my old starter was turning the engine until I installed this one. It spins my 6.0l like a top. Of course only time will determine durability.

Since it has low torque, it requires longer cranking intervals to start engine.

My old starter burnt up on my truck and this was a good replacement. I have only been using for a month and its starts up quickly everytime.

The product looked like new...not remanufactured. It is working fine on me truck and if for any reason it fails to perform, it has a lifetime warranty! I like that!
