Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:

I originally selected this product because it had great reviews even though it was one of the cheaper models. It did live up to it's reviews. It fit exactly like the original factory part I had just removed. I just goes to show that cheap is not always bad. It even came with all new wires which is good to replace in an older car.

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:

Good working stock replacement pump. Dropped tank to pull sender/pump unit out, my OEM pump was identical, even down to the electrical connector. I didnt even have to change that out with the provided stuff. works great. I also bought a new strainer to go along with this pump. Didnt have a snap fit or a clip, just pushes onto the bottom.

                        A:

Fuel pumps stop working due to a variety of reasons. Once this happens, the supply to the injectors is automatically stalled and the vehicle stalls as well, overheating and frequent stopping or intermittent breakdown.Such a problem is an indicative sign of a bad fuel pump.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
