They were easy to install, appear a little brighter compared with the standard lights. I will clean the twelve year old plastic lens covers next to improve light intensity.h

Buy these instead of the Ultras and save some money. Had the Ultras and they did not last very long. Went with these and 2 years later they are still working. Really didn't notice any difference between these and the Ultras in headlight performance either.

I bought Sylvania XtraVision 9004 XV/2 Headlights for my 1988 Toyota Camry LE. The cars existing electrical connection would not fully insert into the bulbs socket end. Externally the bulb looks like a OEM bulb -- But the bulb socket has internally raised plastic pieces deep in the inside bottom of the socket that blocks (stops) full insertion. Why? Don't know but these lights will not fit my car. My owners manual and Advance Auto lists 9004 bulbs for this make/model Toyota. Note that the plain 9004 base model bulb does not have these internal plastic blocking pieces and can be used. To bad -- I wanted the extra lighting power.
