Comments about Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Headlight:

I installed this headlamp to replace one that was going bad in my 2006 Honda Element. It was exactly the same as my OEM headlamp with the exception that when I installed it, it was brighter than my OEM headlamp. The only thing that I would recommend is that you possibly install both headlamps at the same time to prevent the old headlamp from looking more yellow than the new one that was installed as they tend to yellow as they get older. Overall a perfect product and was able to install in my Element within three minutes. I have nothing bad to say about this headlamp.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Headlight:

Replced both headlight lamps 26 months ago and the right lamp just went out. Will replace with the same type when the left goes out, but had kept the OEM's and used the old lamp on right as a temporary replacement. These lamps put out a real nice white light and are noticably better than OEM lamps. Cost more, but if they last two years and I see better, that is worth the shorter life of the lamp vs. human life or that of my Odyssey van.

First I changed in DEC2010 and then in JUN2011 but just 4 days back one bulb went. So please check before buying if these bulbs suits your car or truck

Will this match the existing light that is still operating on the other side OR will it be brighter? Also the high beam on thsi side works its just the low beam that appears to be out. Any special tools I need to get to this? Thanks! Dawn

This will be brighter. It is recommended that when you replace one bulb, you also replace the other as well, so that both are the same brightness.
