I use this to seal Saturn sunroofs for GOOD! They all leak like a siv. This stuff seals good and is very thin so it can seep into the cracks.

I'm restoring a 1970 Pontiac Catalina 4 door sedan. The GM cars of this era were know for leaking window seals. I have used this product as a permanent solution to the problem. I wouldn't recommend it for repairing cracks in windshields.
