Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
I normally carry 600-800 lbs of equipment in the bed of my Dakota and the factory shocks were worn out. Instead of an extra leaf spring, I installed these monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorbers. They lifted the rear of my truck back up to level (almost 2") and have been performing as advertized. They are difficult to install, but was able to use my floor jack to compress the coil spring for the lower mount.
Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Installed on my 04 Dakota 4x4. They lifted the rear about 1" (prefect). Ride quality is slightly stiffer but an improvement over the old factory shocks. Had to use a floor jack to compress the shock in order to install (a spring compressor would have worked too). Very happy with the results and would recommend the sensa-trac load adjusting shocks to anyone hauling even a small load. My truck used to "squat" with just a few hundred pounds in the back...Not Anymore! Thank You Monroe! Awesome product!
